Arnold Schwarzenegger Caricatures as Conan the Barbarian

As I was creating this Celebrity Caricature Cartoon Print of Arnold, I chuckled as I imagined what the headlines could have been when he was elected the governor of California: “Conan the Barbarian becomes the 38th Governor of California”. Out of all the Schwarzenegger movies (Conan the Barbarian, The Terminator, Commando, etc.), the wife’s favorite was Conan (must have something to do with all those muscles—I’m talking about serious gym time here!). From “Terminator” to "Governator", Arnie has certainly made the rounds by following in the footsteps of other such illustrious “stars turn politician” as Clint Eastwood, Sonny Bono, Ronald Regan and Shirley Temple Black—just to name a few.

I elected to portray Schwarzenegger as Conan the Barbarian in this cartoon drawing, first to please the wife, and, second—because he is considered to be one of the top bodybuilding figures (Arnold Classic). I hope you enjoy this caricature of Arnold Schwarzenegger as much as my wife does.
