About Tina Turner Pictures (born Anna Mae Bullock), Tina Turner Caricatures by Don Howard

In this celebrity caricature art print, Tina Turner Pictures, I wanted to show off that hair—that lion-like mane, and that tremendous body and, of course, THOSE LEGS. I think I pulled it off, as it has been one of my more popular cartoon prints. I gave this illustration an overall reddish kind of a tint because I just see Tina as, what we call in the community, a “red bone”. After completing the drawing of Tina, I knew I had to do one of Ike, although it was eight years later before I got around to doing it. Ike was drawn in such a way that, if a person was inclined to (I’m not sure who would be—no pun intended Ike), they could purchase both art prints and put them together and it would look like they were actually performing together! Hey, I know everyone has seen Tina’s “Simply The Best" Video on YouTube—check out that horse, is that Wild!!!! Or what.
